Farmington, Connecticut - October, 2009

Connecticut Mental Health Specialists (CMHS) is pleased to announce that Mrs. Clarisse Tulchinsky, APRN, BC has accepted the position of Director of Clinical Services. Clarisse resides in West Hartford and has been a dedicated team member with CMHS for five years as the Clinical Supervisor for the company. In her new role she will triage all of the psychiatric emergencies for the 75 nursing homes and assisted living facilities that CMHS services throughout the state of Connecticut. She will also manage the APRN’s and psychiatrists that work for the company, maintain their schedules, perform evaluations, ensure that the highest quality care is being maintained in accordance with the CMHS philosophy.

Clarisse received her Master’s in Adult Psychiatric Nursing from Yale University in 1993 and a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Boston College in 1988. Clarisse has an extensive background in adult and geriatric psychiatry including the University of Connecticut’s partial hospital program, the intensive outpatient program and the inpatient psychiatric unit.
